This video is designed especially to measure career interests in people who have
little or no English skills and/or limited reading and writing abilities. It is
based on John Holland's Theory of Types. But its video administration requires
no reading skills on the part of test takers, so it is an excellent alternative
to language-based assessments and very good for group administration. This is
the only program of its kind.

This unique and inexpensive workbook is a great handout for vocational
rehabilitation and intensive services. It covers the same job search steps as
the very popular Quick Job Search, Fourth Edition. However, this guide also
addresses the unique issues that people with disabilities face, such as
Assessing challenges as well as skills.
Determining the pros and cons of disclosing a disability in a cover letter or
resume.
Addressing the interview questions people with disabilities face, such as “How
will you be able to do this job?”
And much more!
This handy guide has been designed with a larger print for easy reading and uses
unique resumes that fit the needs of the reader. An appendix at the back of the
book includes a helpful list of Web sites that address disability issues.

separately . Picture Interest
Career Survey (PICS)
The Picture
Interest Career Survey (PICS) is a quick way for people to
identify occupational interests by using pictures of people at work
rather than text-based items. Test takers are presented with 36 sets of
3 pictures and choose which of the three portrayed occupations seems
most interesting. Based on the number and kind of pictures selected, PICS creates a profile of the individual which then can lead
directly to career information and potential job matches. The assessment
takes less than fifteen minutes to complete and score, and it is suited
to both genders and all backgrounds. It can be self-administered and
self-scored, given individually or in groups, and is ideally suited to
today’s changing workforce. PICS has solid reliability and
validity, and has been tested on a wide variety of populations.
